Position Summary
The Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA) is seeking a Technical Support Specialist II. This is a full-time position located in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. This position works under the direction of the IT Client Services Director and is responsible for providing Help Desk and IT project support to the National Office. In the performance of these duties, this position will support the overall mission of the C&MA as described below.
Specific Duties
- Facilitates moderate to advanced IT Help Desk support utilizing expert technical support and customer service skills
- Troubleshoots and remediates computer (Mac and PC) hardware and software problems
- Installs, configures, and maintains computer hardware and software
- Processes IT purchases following established department standards
- Tracks computer hardware, mobile devices, software licenses, warranties, and contracts in the IT asset tracking system
- Assists in the tracking, deployment, support, and management of company mobile cellular devices
- Maintains an organized IT Help Desk software archive
- Maintains an organized IT Help Desk Lab and IT storage area
- Maintains project updates and communications through the ticketing system utilizing strong communication with customers
- Prepares documentation and training of IT systems and software
- Maintains computer user, group, and computer objects in MS Active Directory
- Interfaces and works collaboratively with the System Administrator(s) as needed
- Other tasks assigned by the IT Client Services Director (i.e. vendor relationships and negotiations)
- Provides training and orientation to new N.O. employees both onsite and offsite
- May provide technical support at General Council as assigned
- Occasional travel, after-hours, and/or weekend support may be required
- Fixes computer problems and complete assigned IT projects and tasks
- Ensures the Help Desk SLAs and procedures are followed
- Maintains IT records and documentation
- Assists or facilitates IT training classes and seminars
- Continually develops knowledge and experience in emerging computer hardware and software technologies
- Continues Help Desk support technician education/training; continually develops technical and professional skills
- Studies and passes a minimum of one approved IT continuing education opportunity each year under the direction of the IT Client Services Director

Requirements
- 2-year associates degree in a tech field is required
- 4-year degree is preferred
- IT certifications are a bonus
- 2-4 years’ experience in a professional office with more than 50 employees
